Walter Dean Myers: Bad Boy This book has been ok so far. It hasn't been as interesting as the other Walter Dean Myers books that I have read. This is about the life of Walter since he was little. None of his other books was like this one but I will continue to persevere through  reading this book. The book isn't bad, its just not my forte. This book could've been used for some research because  it is a first hand source of Walters life. It provides a lot of facts that explain a lot of things like his name and the title of the story. The book is bigger than  the average Walter Dean Myers book but I still would recommend it to anyone in 8th grade who likes nonfiction books. I'm disappointed in this book. It did not keep my attention while reading it.  

My book is called Somewhere In The Darkness by Walter Dean Myers. My book is told in third person by an omniscient  narrator. He has been an amazing narrator by giving us, (the reader) the feelings of both the main character and his father. This book would not have been this great if the narrator was the main character ( Jimmy). The reader wouldn't really know the personal feeling between jimmy and his father (crab). If Jimmy was the narrator the story would've been one sided. The reader wouldn't know the real reason why his (jimmy's) father came to town. Jimmy hated his father in the beginning of the story. If he was the narrator it would've been a sorrow/ hate story. To wrap up this post, this story would've been totally different if the narrator was different.

One of the best books I ever read was Tears of A Tiger. Its about a kid named Andrew Jackson who made a terrible mistake. He killed his bestfreiend and now he ha s to pay the cost mentally. Andy is a teenager who sends a good message to teenagers our age. Andy  was irresponsible and now see why parents teach these lessons. Tears Of A Tiger is an interesting book that makes you want to keep reading and never stop. I would recommend this book for any teenagers especially ones who are about to start driving. This book could save lives. I like the way the book is written because it doesn't use useless words. This  book isn't long either. Its just enough pages for Ms.Petrella class. This is a great book and I hope you enjoy it.

So far  it has been an amazing book and I recommend it to anybody. I like books like this because it could happen to anyone at anytime. It helps me knock off the immature things that teenagers like to try when they get older, like drinking and driving. I'm not going to say too much about what happened because I already have in the last blog post. The main character so far (Andy) has a lot of guilt building in him because of the recent lost of his bestfriend ( Rob) who died in the car accident as I said in the last blog. I believe someone will say something to Andy and its really going to make him snap and its not going to be good. Andy has already had an outbreak with  some of his friends saying something to him, about Rob and it made him storm out of class. I cant wait to see what happens at the end of this book so we will

Hello, my name is Dakari Thomas. I'm going to tell you about the book I am reading. My book is called Tears of a Tiger as you can tell by the title. I just got it not to long ago soo I'm not that far in the story. The book has been pretty good so far and I'm glad I found another book to my interest. My book is told in third person so there isn't a main character, its more of main characters. Those people are named, B.J., Andy, Rob, Tyrone. They were involved in a terrible accident on the highway after a basketball game. They had just blew the other team out by 40 or more and they wanted to celebrate. They went drinking and driving. The car was driven by Andy. They crashed into a wall. Robby feet was on the dashboard and when they crashed his feet went into the window. Everyone got out but he was stuck and the car caught fire while he was stuck inside. He died all because they were drinking and driving. This is how far I have got in my book, thank you.
